Las Vegas Sun and Las Vegas Weekly proudly hosted the inaugural High School Heroes awards, celebrating extraordinary student heroes from across Clark County and highlighting their acts of heroism, generosity and selflessness. The event took place at MEET Las Vegas, with Las Vegas Sun Managing Editor, Ray Brewer, serving as emcee and sharing the inspiring stories of each honoree. The evening of celebration featured a DJ and photo booth by SPTLGHT Entertainment, floral centerpieces from Flower by Designs and balloon decor by Vegas Balloon Company. Attendees enjoyed complimentary sandwiches from Port of Subs, custom beverages by All That and a Latte and sweet treats from Nuage Cotton Candy. Nu World Graphics provided custom High School Heroes t-shirts for guests of the event along with commemorative bags for each honoree.
